Looking for a pottery workshop in Beit Shemesh? Adama V'Ruach ("Earth and Spirit") is a hand-building ceramics studio at 1 Rashi Street, in the Sheinfeld neighborhood of Beit Shemesh - a short drive from Ramat Beit Shemesh, and easy to reach from Jerusalem and Gush Etzion.
Workshops are guided in Hebrew (English is understood - feel free to write and ask in English) by Esty Natanov Lebor, a ceramic artist. No wheel, no pressure - just traditional hand-building: your hands, the clay, and ninety quiet minutes. No experience needed, and everyone leaves with a real piece they made themselves.

About Esty
I'm Esty Natanov Lebor. A ceramic artist, a dental hygienist, a software tester, and above all, a mom. Clay is where I come to listen. I found ceramics in 2020, through a personal journey of searching and healing, and studied for three years at the START school of art. In the summer of 2025 I opened my own studio.
I believe the touch of clay creates quiet and a real inner connection. The studio is a warm, welcoming space where you create at a calm pace, with room for your hands, your heart and the process. For me, clay is not only about making an object. It is a way to slow down and listen to what is happening inside.

Is English OK?
The guidance is in Hebrew, but Esty understands English - you are welcome to write, ask and mix languages. Every step is demonstrated hands-on, so language is rarely a barrier.
Where exactly are you?
1 Rashi Street, in the Sheinfeld neighborhood of Beit Shemesh. Free street parking nearby.
When are you open?
All workshops are by advance booking. Regular days: Tuesday 9:00-13:00 and Thursday 9:00-15:00; other times by arrangement - just send a WhatsApp message.
Can we make Judaica?
Yes - participants make kiddush cups, chanukiahs, mezuzah cases, Shabbat candle-lighting sets and personalized door signs. A meaningful handmade gift for a bar mitzvah, wedding or new home.
How do I get my pieces?
After drying, two kiln firings and glazing, everything is ready for pickup at the studio within 30 business days.
